4.  Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe will move a resolution to move a parliament into the Constitution Assembly for drafting a new constitution. Sri Lanka has twice drafted a constitution before this in 1972 and 1978. However, this is the first time when the government is seeking public participation for drafting new constitution.

5. Maharashtra government is going to allow non-farmers to buy agricultural land for industrial activities without government permission. It will encourage the industrialization in the state. However, buyer has to use the land for prestated purpose within five years which could be increased to 10 years with some conditions; otherwise the land will go back to the government.
