Derogator --- intended to make a person or thing seem of little importance or value

Capacious --- more than adequate or average in capacity

Browbeat --- intimidate (someone), typically into doing something, with stern or abusive words

Pretext --- a reason given in justification of a course of action that is not the real reason

Apprehension --- anxiety or fear that something bad or unpleasant will happen

 Carpin --- marked by or inclined to querulous and often perverse criticism


Ludicrous -causing or intended to cause laughter

Scandalising --- shock or horrify (someone) by a real or imagined violation of propriety or morality
