1. Bilious 
Definition -bad-tempered
Synonyms – peevish, choleric
Antonyms – well, agreeable
E.g. My father becomes bilious if you try to talk to him while he is watching his favorite sport.

2. Acrimonious 
Definition - angry in tone 
Synonyms – bitter, biting
Antonyms – kind, considerate
E.g. We could avoid this acrimonious situation altogether by agreeing to disagree on the issue.

3. Nonchalant 
Definition - relaxed and calm in a way that shows you do not care 
Synonyms – cool, indifferent
Antonyms –anxious, concerned
E.g.  In times of crisis, police officers must appear nonchalant while helping upset citizens.

4. Larceny 
Definition - unlawful taking of personal property
Synonyms – theft, stealing
Antonyms – reimbursement, pay
E.g. Stealing, larceny, theft; no matter what you call it, it is not right.

5. Imbecile 
Definition - a word used to describe a person who behaves in a stupid or foolish manner 
Synonyms – idiot, fool
Antonyms – intelligent, brain
E.g. The teenaged imbecile thought it was funny to pretend he was a special needs student.

6. Hegira 
Definition -a trip taken to get away from an unlikable or unsafe circumstance
Synonyms – exodus,
E.g. The settlers hoped their hegira would lead them to a land where food was plentiful.

7. Gluttony 
Definition - drinking or eating excessively 
Synonyms – greed, overeating
Antonyms – abstinence
E.g. During the holidays, I usually give in to gluttony and gain at least ten pounds.
