Rearrange the given six sentences/ group of sentences (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (f) in a proper sequence so as to form a meaningful paragraph and then answer the given question:

(A) One day. having to go a long way from home, he mounted his horse, taking with him a small purse in which he put a few biscuits and dates, as he had to pass through the desert where no food was available.
(B) After finishing this frugal meal, he was washing his face and hands in the fountain, when he saw an enormous giant, red with rage, coming towards him. with a sword in his hand.
(C) Once there was a merchant who possessed great wealth, in land, merchandise and ready money and from time to time he had to travel to different places to arrange his affairs.
(D) On the fourth day of his return journey, the heat of the sun being unbearable, he turned off the road to rest under some trees and there he found, at the foot of a large walnut­tree, a fountain of crystal clear running water.
(E) He dismounted, fastened his horse to a branch of the tree and sat by the fountain, after having taken from his wallet some of his dates and biscuits.
