1. Five Indian women have made it to the Forbes list of world’s richest people in the world, which saw 190 women billionaires.



2. India has been ranked at the 90th place in a list of 126 countries compiled by WEF on the basis of their ability to deliver secure, affordable and sustainable energy.Sweden at first place.



3. Portugal Government nominated former Portuguese Prime Minister and head of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) Antonio Guterres as a candidate for General Secretary at United Nations.



4. 3 March: World Wildlife Day.World Wildlife Day was observed on 3 March 2016 across the world .2016 theme is “The future of wildlife is in our hands”.



5. The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) cleared a proposal to acquire two more Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) at the cost of Rs.7,500 crore under a tripartite contract with Israel and Russia.
